Almost at the Finish Line

As 2017 winds down (and that's putting it gently cuz this was a crazy year), it's a good time to remember how the Placitas Cafe fits into our charming little outpost here at the foot of the Sandias. This is the meet and greet center of our little universe and I'm feeling lucky that I can say that. Come down and see your friends, listen to some LIVE music and enjoy the food and libations. On Friday, December 1st, the Old & In The Way will be at the Cafe from 6 - 8 pm. They play familiar songs from the 60s-70s- and 80s from lots of genres. They don't look that old but look again -- they are blocking the damn door!  


Tuesday December 5th, Scott the Magnificent will play from 6 to 8 pm. He's a lot more modest than you would think with a name like that.

On Friday, December 8th, Sage will be performing from 6 - 8 pm singing some fine contemporary and traditional music along with a bit of country and light rock.





On Friday, December 15th, RockZonE will be at the Cafe from 6 - 8 pm. If you don't fall for their music, you must not be in the zone.





On Tuesday, December 19th, Jerry's In the Way will be at the Cafe from 6 - 8 pm. Here's another chance to satisfy your curiosity. We can't tell you any more than that.

The Heat Is On

We're feeling the heat outside but everything's cool inside the Placitas Cafe. The vibe is mellow, the beer is cold, and the locals are friendly. And the outside patio in the evening is sublime. Come down and see for yourself. We'll save you a seat.

Spring is in the air! Sorry, that may just be pollen. As Mom used to say, sometimes you have to take the bitter with the batter, and juniper pollen definitely falls in the bitter category.

Spring is just around the corner and the mountain doesn't have much frosting on it, so enjoy the sunshine and blue skies that we all know and love. Good time to grab an outdoor table too!
