This is getting a little ridiculous. Where's the rain? Sure, we can make it rain inside the Café (in a manner of speaking), but we need some moisture here...now! Anyhoo, you can get over here to wet your whistle and listen to these fine musicians.

On Friday, August 23rd, the Old & In The Way will be at the Cafe from 6 - 8 pm. They play familiar songs from the 60s-70s- and 80s from lots of genres. They don't look that old but look again -- they are blocking the damn door!

Red moons, blue moons, harvest moons, super moons...take your pick. You can see them all from the Placitas Cafe and that includes the unobstructed view of the Sandias...all free of charge.

Almost at the Finish Line

As 2017 winds down (and that's putting it gently cuz this was a crazy year), it's a good time to remember how the Placitas Cafe fits into our charming little outpost here at the foot of the Sandias. This is the meet and greet center of our little universe and I'm feeling lucky that I can say that. Come down and see your friends, listen to some LIVE music and enjoy the food and libations.
