Fall Is In the Air...Wait -- Those Are Balloons!

Get here when we open and you can still see some hot air balloons drifting up the Rio Grande valley. No way to beat that view, especially since the aspens have started to turn up on the Sandias. No better place to be than the Placitas Cafe!


Friday, October 5th, The Grove will play from 6 to 8 pm.

Tuesday, October 9th, Singing Coyote Sisters, 6 to 8 pm. will be performing. It's going to be a howling good time.

On Friday, October 12th, the Old & In The Way will be at the Cafe from 6 - 8 pm. They play familiar songs from the 60s-70s- and 80s from lots of genres. They don't look that old but look again -- they are blocking the damn door!



On Tuesday, October 16th, Ron Crowder will be at the Cafe from 6 - 8 pm.




On Friday, October 19th, RockZonE will be at the Cafe from 6 - 8 pm. If you don't fall for their music, you must not be in the zone.

Scary! It's October Already and the Balloons Are Flying

The morning air is getting crisp, the days are warm and the balloons are high (along with some Placitans). Perfect time to get down to the Cafe to join your friends and neighbors for great food, great music and great brews.

Is That a Balloon in My Backyard or Are You Just Glad to See Me?

The aspens have turned on the North side of the Sandias so it must be Balloon Fiesta time. Don't own a balloon? No problem. Come to the Placitas Cafe and you can drown your sorrows in a pint of great beer or your favorite vino. And do it all while listening to some great live music! Stick that in your dirigible!

On Friday, Oct 3rd, RockZonE will be at the Cafe from 6 - 8 pm. Falling rock is actually a lot safer than a balloon falling on you.

Is that a balloon that just drifted by my window? Yep, it's Balloon Fiesta time again. The nights are cool, the days are warm and the aspens are turning. It has to be one of the best months to be in New Mexico.

And a trip to the Placitas Cafe is the cherry on top!
  

Righteous Men are appearing at the Cafe on Friday Oct 4th, from 6 to 8 pm. No bibles necessary.
