That's right. The aspens on the Sandias are turning and there's really no better view than from our front patio. So it's a great time to come over and wet your whistle (we got the beer, you bring the whistle), and see all your neighbors while you're at it.

On Friday, October 18th, RockZonE will be at the Cafe from 6 - 8 pm. If you don't fall for their music, you must not be in the zone.

Falling for That Again

Summer's over in case you have not heard...or been outside lately. If you want to cry in your beer about it, the Cafe is the place. On the other hand, you could celebrate the coming change of colors as the aspens turn gold on the mountain and make the most of Fall in New Mexico.

Feeling Nippy Yet? That's Normal

Cool nights and warm days. It's the quintessential recipe for autumn in New Mexico. And it's a pretty darn good time to be sitting on the portale in front of the Placitas Cafe and waiting for the Aspens to turn. And while you're at it, you should come out to listen to some fine, FREE music!

On Friday, September 2nd, Olde & In The Way will be at the Cafe from 6 - 8 pm. They play familiar songs from the 6os-70s-and 80s from lots of genres. They don't look that old but look again -- they are blocking the damn door! 

On Friday, September 9th, Sage will be performing from 6 - 8 pm singing some fine contemporary and traditional music along with a bit of country and light rock.
 


Friday September 16th, Chris's Jazz. 6 to 8 pm. Here's another chance to satisfy your curiosity. We can't tell you any more than that.


 
Tuesday September 20th, 6 to 8 pm., Straight Jack. It has something to do with all the same suits, but they don't wear suits. Or maybe there's a guy named Jack Daniels. Not sure. Come down and see for yourself.
