Summer is a great time to visit the Cafe and grab one of those outdoor tables (dogs welcome, by the way). Enjoy some fine food and libations while you take in the fantastic view of the Sandias. With the great music wafting out the door, you even get a great soundtrack to go with the great view.
Friday June 6th, Haiku Cowboys will be performing from 6 to 8 pm. Their sound could be pure poetry if it didn't have to rhyme and be only 3 lines.
On Tuesday, June 10th, John Bullock and John Davis will play all your favorite tunes for your listening pleasure. Catch them from 6 - 8 pm.
On Friday June 13th, 6 to 8 pm. Claystone, the musical duo of Kent Gurle and Doug Davidson, will be performing their acoustical harmonies.
Nancy Drew will be singing up a summer storm on Friday June 20th from 6 to 8 pm. I'd like to say she will be backed up by the Hardy Boys band but that would be a lie. Funny, but a lie just the same.
Bohemian Sol likes the summer heat because it makes for some ultra hot tunes. Catch their distinctive sound at the Cafe on Friday June 30th, from 6 to 8 pm.
Retro-eclectic music and pizza go together like.....like Cheap and Easy! Get over to the Cafe Tuesday July 17 from 6 to 8 pm and enjoy one of the most entertaining bands around. Can you tap your feet while you eat? You certainly can, and you will.

Nothing to worry about here --- we're talking about the band RockzonE and they will not be sliding down the side of the mountain, so you can enjoy the music. They will be playing on Friday the 13th (yeah, yeah, but no worries, honest -- nothing will fall on you), from 6 to 8 pm. Come out and enjoy the food along with the music.

A wise man once said, if you want my advice, you should go listen to Sage, Friday June 22, 6 to 8pm. And while you're there listening to her contemporary and traditional folk music (along with a bit of country and light rock), you should enjoy a delightful beverage and some fine vittles (who says vittles anymore?).
The temperature is rising, so when the sun starts going down is the perfect time to watch it sink slowly in the West at one of our comfy outdoor tables. Bring your friends and make an evening out of it.

Warm, sunny days are perfect for lolling (and who doesn't like to loll) around on the outdoor seating at the Placitas Cafe. There's a seat there with your name on it. Actually, it says Placitas Cafe on it, but let's not get bogged down in the details. The point is that the Placitas Cafe is the ideal place to sit and catch up with friends and neighbors while you enjoy the great food and superb coffee. Have two cups...no one will tell.
