Falling for the Placitas Cafe

Hey -- yes you. It's almost October. We can see the aspens turning yellow up on top of the Sandias, so it must be Fall. The weather is fantastic for sitting on the patio at the Placitas Cafe and enjoying the view along with your favorite brew.

And as the sun sinks slowly in the West, what could be better than enjoying some great food along with some great music.

Sage is on stage Friday September 28th, from 6 to 8 pm, singing some fine contemporary and traditional music along with a bit of country and light rock.

Haiku Cowboys will be bringing their distinctive sound back to the Cafe on Friday October 5, from 6 to 8 pm. No poetry required but wear shoes that are good for toe-tapping, because you're gonna need them.

On Friday nite, October 12th, the Spotted Doggs are back at the Cafe with their original rock and blues sound, from 6 - 8 pm.  The boys have become separated from their leash so there's no telling what could happen.

The third Tuesday of the month, October 16, means it's time to sit back and relax with our favorite local band, Cheap and Easy. Get there early if you want to find a seat, because the fun starts at 6 pm. And as is the case every Tuesday, it's also Pizza Nite. Music and pizza go together like love and marriage (horse and carriage, ham and eggs, etc.).

RockZone will be back on Friday (AKA Fryday) October 19th, 6 to 8 pm. This falling rock zone is safe, so you don't have to wear a hardhat. A nice gimme cap will be fine.

On Friday October 26th, from 6 to 8 pm, Sage will be back singing some fine contemporary and traditional music along with a bit of country and light rock.
